Billingsley has a new shunter looking after the yard, ready on hand to help move a stricken loco if needed. 08938 has been liveried in experimental East Midlands Trains livery, having the red and orange ‘swoosh’ applied as per the 153s rather than the standard blue bonnet and red cab as per the rest of the EMT 08 fleet. It caused quite a stir with spotters after arriving from Neville Hill where it was originally based.
